I went through the worst breakup last year. It was so toxic. I ignored all the red flags for almost 4 years. I used to listen while driving around and sob. I gave that man everything and never got anything in return. I had to sue him to get my belongings back. Move across the country to move back in with my parents. It was bad but, 6 days after moving I met the most amazing man. He treats me as I wanted to be the entire time. It hurt then but, I lost the boy and got a man who showers me with love, surprises me, listens, wants to spend time with me, and has my back. I believe this is how it was supposed to be. I had to learn to respect myself and hold myself in a brighter light. It has been been my biggest lesson. NEVER settle for less. I deserve more than what was given. I'm happy to say I have never been happier. So I'll repeat don't settle for less because there is a lesson to be learned and there is someone who will see your worth. And it might just lead you to something bigger and better.

This song reminds me of my uni boyfriend. We graduated, grow up and grow apart. He already has someone new but I don’t. But I kinda understand now that it’s the way of life. We found the love that’s beautiful at that period of time. The love that helps us grow up and learn from it. I guess I will always wish him the best and I hope that one day I’m gonna be ready to love again. ❤
