I think if you have a rental right now you might want to extend that for another year or 2 because we're about to go into a recession if a number of things don't get fixed in the supply chain affecting everything else.

What a free month of rent going to do when you are going to be stuck with 12 months lease? I prefer my rent be lower every month. I am sure if they are willing to give me a free month it would benefit to have a lower rent instead. But that is just me. It’s like the free interest scam for 2 yrs but you still have to pay🙄 then by giving you a free month they disappear and don’t want to maintenance the place. 🥴🤯

With these high rents how are people going to save enough to buy a home.? There is a very insidious aspect to this.

This report made it sound like his parents were renting also, Stephanie Ruhle is married to a Wall street multi millionaire hedge fund manager everybody keep that in mind, Almost every financial issue she reports on is a borderline conflict of interest for her

I’m 29. I sold my condo in Boston and moved in with my parents in the burbs. Main two reasons: best time to sell and my dad got sick. I’ve been really enjoying the peace and quiet access to trail and a few lakes. Granted I now live 35 from Boston but that’s not much. Might just buy a house out here when the market cools

When you have no evictions for over a year there is a shortage of rentals available which is why rents have gone up.

Actually $1800 to $2000 plus utilities for a home like that is common where I live in Ottawa, Canada.

Renting is a complete waste of money. At the end of it, the resident gets nothing. There is no equity.

$2k a month for a house?! It's $3k for a one bedroom apartment on the west coast.

Most homes & housing units are still empty since the pandemic began with no jobs; good luck raising prices & banks taking it back!.

Now I see why more and more folks are living off the grid, with septic toilets and solar panels or generators, as well as moving to larger towns and saving to purchase their own homes.

Absolutely not true in most counties. This is a few select areas. Rents are very affordable in about 90% of Counties in USA.
