It's a great racing series. They never fail to put me in deep sleep, much like 1/3 of the F1 races. I never thought a whole lot of hissing noises and boring commentary would make for a great sleep aid.

Am I the only one who actually likes watching Formula E? IMO, it's better than watching a regular F1 Grand Prix with only Turbo V6 cars... Ok, F1 was great in the mid 2000's, but it's over now. Formula E is actually quite fun, and the battles are way more intense. Ok, fan boost is a bit cheesy, but eventually grew on me as well.

When to donnington to watch the formula E cars testing before the forest season and was very impressed in them. Also we got chance to get in the pit lane and up close.

It makes lake the f1 noise, but has its own sound, which is good, plus you nab hear the cars mechanics under compression and the lock ups sound terrifying, something you don't hear at f1. Over all I love Fe and hope it keeps growing.

We need to bring back unlimited classes to racing. People want to see the most extreme racing cars that the great minds of today can create. Whatever happened to the unique racing cars like the Deltawing, Lotus' ground effect and fan cars, Tyrrell 6 wheel car, or Red Bull's X2010 and X2014.

Formula E in it's current state is not the future! as long as they use lithium battery technologies and have to swap cars half way through the races it's nothing but a novelty IMHO

It's useless to throw shit at Formula E and say the F1 is better because "combustion engine". No, the truth is that there's not much a difference when watching. Both are very fast and make high pitched whiny noises and are filled with a lot of technology and driver assists.

The only differences are people's preferences for whiny noises they are used to and that F1 has a longer history. The last few decades of F1 seem to guide the sport into a more and more rigid rule set in which it's harder and more costly to innovate and when something dramatic pops up it's promptly banned.

To be honest I find these races somewhat boring regardless of powertrain used, so that's my preference, but I don't need to throw shit at it and I'm just happy that there is now some more diversity and that this will help electric cars as a whole to improve.

Really well produced video as usual. They might as well cancel Formula E now though; sport is meant to be entertaining and electric cars will never be that. It doesn't matter how many "race DJs" you have or the degree in which you force social media integration into the racing, all you have are whisper quiet cars that no one likes. When the highlights of the races are the gimmicks that surround it, then you have a problem.

Joking aside, props to the engineers, it's a cool car but the Formular E is kinda boring.
