Learn how to make very popular and expensive multi-coloured roses fast. Step by step tutorial.

Rainbow roses, which are now sold in markets and in florist shops, are obtained by staining roses through the stem during the growth of roses or immediately after cutting with strong pigments of different colors. Sometimes only two or three pigments are used, which are absorbed through different parts of the stem. The rest of the shades are obtained by crossing the colors. White or creamy modern roses such as Vendela and Mondial are used for this treatment. Typically, the market price for such roses is two or even three times the market price for standard varieties roses. Roses dyed with these dyes have approximately the same vase lifespan as conventional greenhouse hybrid roses, but they color the water in a vase and are very expensive. So I devised a simple method of painting rainbow roses with simple floral spray paints or spray paints. These paints contain isopropanol and acetone and are therefore not toxic to humans, although it is recommended to wear a mask when applying these paints. Sprayers are also not poisonous to flowers. The lifespan of roses in a vase does not change and the smell from the spray evaporates very quickly.
In addition, other advantages of this staining method are that roses do not emit dyes into the water and also cost half the price of roses prepared in a greenhouse. In addition, they can be used to prepare, for example, a wedding bouquet where the contact of roses in the fabric surface and human skin cannot be avoided. This fact makes the use of industrially colored roses unacceptable due to their ability to paint all contacting surfaces. You can use food color for more natural and cost friendly method, although decor pattern may differ. Plus it doesn’t smell and you can use white sugar and Advil to make them last longer! Mine last a good 2 weeks with proper but minimum care. The hair dryer will kill the rose petals so easy by the way...

so creative and smart. i can't believe all the negatives comments on here... if you prefer the dyed ones no one asked for your opinion, if you think the intro was too long..fast forward or increase your playback speed to x1.25.... literally no reason for negative comments on a video that someone took time to make and also share a pretty innovative trick she could've kept to herself. this entire world is a cesspool of negative jerks.

I don't know if it's just me, but I prefer the dyed roses in the vase, over the ones sprayed with the floral color. They just look more natural, and overall prettier in my opinion. But thank you for showing us how to do it that way :)

That's a very clever method to dye roses, the only potential issue I can think of is: when the roses start blooming. I mean the rose's natural color comes out to say hi once the rose is completely bloomed. When you dye flowers by the stem it's exactly the opposite the petals closest to the center of the flower gets the more vibrant colors. You're right sometimes it's messy to deal with stem dyed roses but I think it's totally worth it, greetings from Mexico.
