it's a good option is you have a flat and/or Inefficient 4 seam or you just want a pitch to miss barrels vertically.

Yahhhh this is what i always do without knowing its a sinker, like i feel holding along with the seam is more comfortable so i just do it

I just cant wrap my head around sinkers. Cutters come fairly naturally to me but sinkers just make no sense
