Riding the Hai Van Pass by motorbike was hands down one of the best experiences of our Vietnam trip! We took the iconic motorcycle tour from Hue to Hoi An, passing by Da Nang, with an Easy Rider guide. Navigating the thrilling twists and turns of the Hai Van Pass was a true highlight. This famous 20 km stretch of road winds through lush hills and hugs the coastline, reaching 500 meters above sea level. Known for its stunning views and featured on Top Gear, the pass is often hailed as one of the world’s most scenic routes. Jeremy Clarkson called it a "deserted ribbon of perfection," and we couldn't agree more!
Although the distance between Hue and Hoi An is just 121 km, on this ride you’ll want to take your time and enjoy. Traveling by motorcycle is one of the best ways to experience this breathtaking part of Vietnam fully.
