I don't understand why people say that when we offer internships, we are investing in those students. That's why we need to be cautious about who we are taking as an intern. I mean, how are you investing in them? The student is coming to learn on their own; they just need a chair in the office. If not, they can arrange that too.And if the concern is about investing professionals' time, we can assure in many ways so that the intern won't waste any of their time And if they learn quickly, it will benefit the company, so why do internships come with so many conditions? I understand conditions for jobs; you pay employees and they directly contribute to the company's tasks. The company's success depends on their hard work and skills. But if you take an intern as backup, even if they fail, the company won't fail because of them. Then why do you impose so many conditions? Instead of making interns qualify through so many things, why not hire software engineers directly?
