Trump never called Biden a genius. He was making a very clearly sarcastic statement about Putin, which he called his plan genius. Putin is smart. He is corrupt and evil but smart. Trump wasn't praising him in any way. So quit twisting the narrative on your listeners and start reporting the truth.

If he's not a genius and he's not smart, why has no one succeeded in stopping his offensive in Ukraine? He played his hand well and everyone is having a hard time countering him. Once things got to the stage of invasion, there was little else that any power could do but hope that the Ukrainians would hold out until it became too costly for him to be there. That's an incredibly smart play on his part. Putin knew when to play this card and how to play it so that the West would be unable to act. I'd call that genius and smart too.

This is embarrassing. Calling a dictator a bully like an upset kindergartener. He is very intelligent albeit a damaged malevolent man.
