Sure sounded like Shannon Gilbert felt like she was being hunted by the sound of her desperation on that 911 call, it’s actually the most probable case in my mind after hearing that Rex liked hunting women for sport.

Listening to Shannon Gilbert’s full 9-1-1 call all over again is truly horrifying all over again. Those screams were alarming before when I heard the call long ago but it’s truly horrifying now more than ever. It’s cuz we know it’s linked to him. I think many of us knew she was in legitimate danger before hearing that call. Despite the excuses from others, former crooked police, and how it was all set aside and still dismissed as a drowning and how it may have happened (drugs, paranoia, etc”) despite her remains being found inconsistent with what a drowning would typically be by how she was facing. It was clear none of it added up and taken with her 9-1-1 call and what we know about her being fairly intelligent and street wise and intuitive and all.. her mother knew these things more than anyone else and it’s why she’s fighting so much to get it right. Rightfully so, , cuz she was a victim that night for sure.

It's especially devastating when you hear of victims that actually escape from killers, only to be ignored by witnesses and then end up dead. Not just in this case but so many others. Just heartbreaking.
