I mostly wear my fanny pack while bicycle riding. I have a inexpensive "tacticool" style, it has lots of molle attachment on all sides. I use plastic "tacticool" carabiners on the front of my handle bars using it as a bike handlebar bag , just square away the waist strap . I also put a couple sleeping bag straps in the fanny pack, using them to lash down extra cargo ( jackets or packages, etc. ). Thanks again for a fun solid review . Thanks

I bought the 5-11 gray blue fanny pack but loop over the shoulder. Fits a 4”, 1911 perfectly. Two extra mags and a small flashlight.

This pack is awesome! Great work bag, beautifully built, don’t use it as a fanny pack yet, but I will when I go hiking. The waist strap fits my waist as a petite female, but also goes out far enough to use as a sling pack. LOVE it, I have the large which holds quite a bit of mom working essentials. definitely recommend vanquest products, they are well thought out and I love that you can luggage lock the pack in case you want to CCW...

I just picked up a 5.11 rapid waist pack. Works great. An i really dont care about opinions. It carries just enough without over doing it.

i like that they sell the 2x7 inch "sticky panel" to hold even more edc gear. this might not seem like a big deal at first,
but if all my tools are free floating, my current sling bag honestly can't hold as much AND it makes the sling bag much more bloated and awkward to carry.
just food for thought.

Always use one backpacking. Don' like trusting shorts pockets for my phone and other essentials that I want easy access to.

I own the large one in camo. Wearing it cross body is the only way to go. Very handy.

Ive been wanting a fanny pack for a while but never really saw any that made me say "me want".... Till now. I just ordered a 5.11 MOAB 10 and now I gotta order this. Im spending much this month. Glad Vanquest makes a good CCW holster for this too. Gotta grab 2 of those, one going to the 5.11 bag. Keep up the great content man, love your videos. I wish I could go backpacking in the woods but Im stuck in west Texas desert.

I found a Chums brand waist/shoulder bag. I like it it super good for going to the gym and riding bike. Perfect beginner bag for someone not wanting to spend alot

While not a conventional fanny pack, I’ve used the pack safe vibe 150 for a couple of years for urban edc and travel.
It’s great for keeping your stuff secure from pickpockets and the like.
In a non firearm self defence situation it can even be used to provide slash protection across the torso if you quickly flip it to the front.

The size and utility of these types of bags are underrated!

Fanny pack with a single buckle to secure it is quite easy to snatch if you are not very aware of your surroundings. I think those packs are great for edc but not great for toting a gun in. Just one man’s opinion.
