It's absolutely precious that Natsu has all of them in his heart. And I love how Mashima stays true to Natsu's character where he doesn't let any one of his friends be his weakness or stop him from fighting, he will still beat them up.

I think he punches lucy and burns the rest because even though they know they're snow people, natsu can't bring himself to burn her again. It also shows when she turns into a snake and he hesitates when he thinks he might hurt her. The fact that he uses lightning magic, too, could also be a part of this new fear of burning her with his fire. With natsu being natsu, he could have thought the lightning would be less damaging than is flames not realizing the water would amplify it.
