That guitarist is in his element. The world doesn't exist outside the music to him

That alphabet floor on the stage has had so many HC greats on it, it's unreal. Sunny, you're a legend for documenting so many performances. Gracias

I've seen Drug Church live numerous times over the last 10 years, their live shows have never changed. Always incredible sound quality, energetic and also hilarious.

I made a solid life decision and decided to attend this show on a Sunday night to see Drug Church. A+ punk and hardcore experience that I would do again! Shout out to Sunny for being a machine and filming everything and shout out to Pat and Drug Church for the good times in that sweaty Philadelphia church basement. GET INTO IT.

Lead guitarist deserves a medal, as does all of the band. And a cookie.

If you watch the first two minutes without sound it looks like he’s in a heated argument with the crowd asking them to give his mic back.

Caught them two days later in Baltimore. Really great live band, one of the best shows I've been to in the past decade.

If the Pixies played hardcore and brought Johnny Marr in on lead guitar!! How I’ve never heard these dudes is beyond me but holy shit they are fucking soaring high!!!

Saw this band for the first time last night in Boston opening for Alkaline Trio. No one was buying their merch. I wasn’t lol. No one was wearing their shirts. In the audience, no one said their NAME. Then, they took the stage. I know this sounds corny AF but the audience’s collective jaw dropped. Also corny but I was in the merch line for ALK3 and when Drug Church took the stage, I was transfixed. Stunned. Reactions from the audience were like “Oh my GOD!”, “They are SOOOO good!”, and mine; “Are you fucking KIDDING ME?!” Boston did NOT know what to expect last night and they made many new fans I bet. Myself being one. This was this first thing I listened to on my way home from work. And I know musicians hate comparisons but they’re big names so it’s a compliment lol. I love the tones and hints of Tom Morello and Alex Lifeson that I’m hearing. Wow. I feel so grateful for discovering a band keeping the true classic hardcore thing alive. At 51. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🖤
I’m going to contact them and tell them all this too. Drug Church was such an amazing surprise for me.
