Carlos, your aggressive atyle of play is appreciated by the fan base. Your style of play is reminiscent of past terrific managers such as Whitey Herzog, Billy Martin, and Ozzie Guillen! We may soon need a nickname for YOUR style of proactive baseball that puts pressure on the opponents! In Carlos We Trust! Mr. Stearns isn't chopped liver himself.

I had written off this season as a no go and it would be a rebuilding/development season, but the last 10-12 games have given me hope that post season play is a real possibility... the key is consistency ... I have watched season after season as the Mets play well up until the stretch then fall apart. Part of being a die hard Mets fan. Frankly, if we had this bullpen during the 2022 season, we would have probably seen the NCLS at the least. The BP is the biggest improvement I have seen on the team in this year so far.

Mendoza is growing on me.. love the hire so far & what he has accomplished.
The West side trip for Fridays match up will determine what the team is all about

It is so gratifying to see come from behind wins for the Mets, for all those years the good teams would just toy with us, then crunch, crunch. They come from behind at the end. Now we are the come back kids! Stand by...

As a Queens native (But living in Saratoga NY which is Mets country ) and a Second generation Mets Fan (My late wonderful dad and mom were the first, both born in the early to mid 60's.) I was born in 1985 and born a Mets fan.

I’ve been a Mets fan since my first game 1963 Mets and dodger’s. It’s been a long road. This is the first time in a long while that I’m pumped up. Hope I get see another year of the amazing MET’S

Funny so early in the season and we’re saying this team is a never say die team. Cute. But seriously I’m so impressed with this team and so surprised at the talent at depth this year. Bader and Taylor are doing so amazing for not playing every day. Amazing signings along with our bullpen and starting pitching signings. Are you kidding me? The starting pitching has been lights out when all Mets fans thought we were going to get lit up. So amazed with all of the moves we made, and we made a lot for our new Manager.

Might not have an ace, but Sevi and Butto have been looking more solid than some of these other aces out there

Jon saying this team doesn’t have flaws is crazy hahah still VERY early, but there is a lot of promise and solid depth. Can’t wait until Senga gets back and Lindor actually starts producing.

Bader will ultimately be judged by his and rightfully so. Hes always had a glove but he's been moved from one organization to another because his bat has failed him everywhere hes been. He knows it too. Hopefully he can simply be a decent hitter and not a pushover at the plate. His bat could be a difference maker to the up or down side of the overall performance of the offense.

Listen man, I'm from Queens but live in LA and it's not a fair comparison that people make between Dodger stadium and Shea. Shea was the better park but the area around Dodger stadium is a beautiful palm tree lined summit in an area much nicer than Flushing.
