OK. I get it. Still stream to Instagram with a separate camera, but with the perspective of giving the viewers on Instagram a behind-the-scenes feel. That's a creative viewpoint.

I use Loola.tv to livestream to Instagram using encoder software. For example I livestream to Instagram with OBS or vMix (via NDI). Loola.tv allows you to also simulcast to YouTube, Periscope and a few others. For me I don't find simulcasting is a great option when it comes to Instagram, because IG is vertical and YouTube, for example, is horizontal. So, I don't simulcast when live streaming on IG. But, I do like to have the option of using encoder software so that I can do more of a show (scene switching, titles, chroma key green screen, etc) when I am live streaming on Instagram. And so far that can only be done using Loola.tv (and apparently another new startup called YellowDuck.tv).

I am using a chroma key which I can remove easily using obs when streaming to twitch, youtube & facebook. When I use your technique broadcasting using my phone on instagram, how can i remove the chroma?

I actually found a platform that can do this and it is called loola.tv ! It can actually stream to instagram from you computer! So you might have to open another tab to do Facebook but at least you can use your computer do stream.
