Mafell's PSS 3100 SE is the world's first self-propelled mobile panel saw. Because it consists of little more than the saw and the track, it can easily be transported to the job site. With the right rail it can cut up to 10 feet (3.1 meters) in length, and the max cutting depth is 1.77" (45mm).

Gutes Werkzeug kommt von Maffel aus Deutschland! Ich habe seit 10 Jahren einen Duodübler, der tadellos funktioniert.

i see that saw before, i have a festool track saw and it can do exactly the same job, BUT, you have to consider that in some countries we use sheets that are 2.75x1.83 meters long, if you have to cut one of that sheets in half, you need big machines (panel saws with that capacity), cut it vertical with some jig or machine, step on them or... use one of this.

this thing costs 3400 euros, so, is not cheap, i prefer a good panel saw (not cheaper), but if the cost of this saw was under 2000, i probably sell my festool and buy one of this.

Fuck OFF. This is incredible. Never knew it existed. But the price tag is quite ridiculous (> € 2000). Any DIY solutions out there yet? :D

The only use for this I can think of is if you are working in a narrow space and can't get around the full panel.

Where's the skill in that? Really do we need to "bubble wrap" people from the danger of a track saw?
