He is absolutely right. General public in Pakistan will roll out the red carpet in a massive way if they know you are an Indian. Experienced it myself in Lahore in 2004. An auto-rickshaw driver during our ride realised I was from India and after reaching the destination we both had tea together and spoke about his grandparents in Punjab, India.
