Peahen laying an egg

Found this girl in the process of laying an egg in the roof of their coop, this was one of the first eggs she ever laid, at this time she didn’t know that she was supposed to lay the eggs in one of the nests I made for them. before it fell to the ground and shatter, was able to catch it. I hatch it in an incubator and the baby peachick is doing well and is very healthy.

I meant for this to be a joke about the perilous egg clip that was shown. I'm sure the peahens actually have very safe egg-laying practices 99% of the time. ☺️
