I saw a lot of people getting mixed up or confused about the background of this song, saying that it's actually called "This Is Home" by Cavetown, or countering those statement by saying it's an original from Mounika, etc.
So even if my comment will be drowned and probably won't be noticed, I'll still put this in for the people who would perhaps need it.

Cavetown has cleared this up, saying that "Cut My Hair" is a remix of "This Is Home" but Cavetown still referenced "Cut My Hair" as Mounika's song, only stating that the vocals and lyrics are the same because he's the one that wrote it, Mounika remixed it to their own version "Cut My Hair"

Here is the source, he talked about it at the beginning of the video to clear any misunderstandings between the two songs. So yes, although Cut My Hair is a remix of This is Home it is still technically its own song.
