Always love to hear all the big truck guys comments when someone suggests towing with anything other than a big American made TRUCK.

Dont let the numbers fool you. Cut the max weight to 80% and have a safety margin. That 4500 lbs the Jeep Cherokee is rated to tow should be 3600 lbs max.

The tow ratings do not account for reliability. Check NHTSA website for owner complaints. I did own a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Too buggy. I can't speak to the other vehicles in this video. Always get more tow vehicle capability then you need. Trailer needs/wants seem to grow.
