Yes the crown store recycles crates and that's why the Quasigrif won't be around much longer because as well as the ones that get bought in for a couple of weeks or a few days there are also quarterly crates and when the next quarter begins it'll be gone until they bring back that crates for another quarter. The quarterly ones are always the ones that now have the 25+ something extra.

Honestly man, there shouldnt be any loot boxes in games. Its predatory and it is on you to not waste your money on them. I do agree with you stating how its your fault and up to you to not waste your money on them. That being said if they werent as predatory i think they would have a larger player base as well as a stronger community. The worst part is even if u drop all this cash on crates and u get what u want after spending 100$, if u move servers or you move consoles or even switch to pc. All of that is GONE, and they do not give a damn how much you spent. Thats my main gripe is how anti consumer their business is. All you gotta do is not try to squeeze your player base for every penny and more people would come back. If they had all of the mounts and pets in the item shop and u got exactly what you paid for i know i would personally be more likely to purchase more cosmetics and maybe im in a small minority on that. Whenever i feel like they’re just trying to get whatever they can out of me is not only when i stop buying cosmetics but i stop playing the game entirely. I hope they change and its been 10 years and they have changes the game alot so who knows. Anyway great video man appreciate anyone who read my entire rant.

Am I the only person who doesn't seem to get anything that breaks down into crown gems?

What I usually do is I have a little savings to buy crowns when they go on sale and buy the most expensive pack during that time. Crown sales dont come up often so i can grow the savings for other games and such as well which i find useful. Then ill just hoard those crowns (plus the monthly stipend from eso plus), and just wait til a crate that i like drops and ill buy em.. Fortunately a large majority of the crown crates dont interest me so i usually sit on a tidy sum of crowns throughout the year or something lol

I'm at about 11.5k endeavors right now. Hoping to snag the quasi before it leaves!

What date do you think crowns will be going on sale?

Why would paying for purely cosmetic items be exploitative? If you have the money, you can support development. This game is explicitly NOT pay-to-win, yet some people will even complain about having to pay a sub for the craft bag.

Trust me, you DO NOT want the game to drop these monetization schemes. If $15/month is too much for you, then maybe offline games are more suitable for you. We don't have the constant, annoying advertisements popping up all over the place whenever you reload a zone like other games, yet people think that maybe spending $40/year on DLC is gonna be enough to keep a massive game like ESO going. It's not. The more players that the game attracts, the more their costs are gonna go up. A lot of these players aren't spending any actual money on the game, yet they're constantly mouthing off on the official forums about every tiny, half-thought gripe they have.

I'd rather the game make its money from crown sales and such than from pay-to-win schemes.

the problem is they nerfed the drop rate from crates they also don't have equality good looking cosmetics that can be earned

I only buy crowns during a sale. I also use discounted PSN cards in order to buy those crowns with. I can normally get a 15% discount on my PSN cards so my money stretches further. Factoring in this along with the crown sale I estimate get my crowns at about half the regular price. Ive got 380k crowns using this method, and I ve spent £900 instead of £1990 over a 2 year period.

You'll never catch me buying crates, it's just too damn predatory for me. I'd rather drop £25 on online blackjack than on a bunch of cosmetics
