Christopher Larkin Appreciation Post

The Hollow Knight Soundtrack is absolutely incredible. I love every single song in it, and I just wanted to give some credit to Christopher Larkin for the incredible work he's done on it. Silksong is coming soon, and the OST will be amazing. I can't wait!

Keep in mind that, due to budget constraints, Larkin had to make the soundtrack electronically.

Now that Team Cherry has a lot more money at their disposal, he can now hire performers. Lace, for example, was performed a strings quartet as said in the description.

Hollow Knight has some of my favorite songs ever made, and we are NOT ready for what he has in store for us in Silksong.

Bonebottom is genuinely my favorite track from either game. Such a beautiful song. I can’t believe my favorite hk track is from a game that isn’t even out yet. Rest of SS is gonna have nothing but bangers for sure.

The first time i heard the music while clibing out of deepnest, combined with the onscreen text, that shit hit me in the feels. Same with after defeating Radiance.
Then of course Path of Pain, which just feels it's building and building. And crazy part is they're all essentially the same music, just with different layers and feel.
