Bebe Rexha claims she was removed from a flight in an alleged 'hate crime' that she detailed on Instagram. The 'I'm the Drama' singer, whose family is of Albanian and North Macedonian descent, says her speaking Albanian led to alleged interaction. At the time, Bebe was at the Munich airport. In a statement to ET, Lufthansa Group Corporate Communications says, 'We contacted Bebe Rexha directly to understand the situation and are conducting an internal review on the matter.'

The only time you ever see her online is when there’s some kind of drama

Hollywood has so many scandals and pre scripted agendas. I hope she is okay but everytime celebs post on social media instead of actually handling the situation with the law it always gives me the side eye

He must have misunderstood how much more famous and important she was than the other passengers?

I was stopped in Germany. I’m Hispanic and I was walking with all my white classmates. They stopped me searched and checked me. Once they seen my American passport and telling them I’m Mexican American. They switched their attitude really quick!

Why is she assuming that being Albanian makes you someone criminal or something. Thats her own insecurity

why did she speak Albanian to someone in Germany, when German is the national language (which she probably doens't speak), however she speaks fluently English .. Why speak Albanian in the first place? Lemme fly to Japan and randomly talk Dutch to the security officers. ..

She has a history of being a drama queen so forgive me for not taking this at face value.

It sounds more like there was an issue with the person understanding her & instead of trying to fix the issue, she got mad because she's famous & more important than others & supposed to receive special treatment. How dare they! 🙄 Her calling this a hate crime is a slap in the face to those who have truly been affected by a hate crime. Smh

I’m confused… she got banned because she spoke Albanian?

There's a perfectly logical explanation for all of this that doesn't involve mistrusting anything she's saying or not reading what it blatantly says in the video. Bebe approaches the security guard who, to her, looks Albanian. She asks him a question in Albanian. The GERMAN security guard who has likely been trained perhaps too well to respond to threats misunderstands the question in Albanian as a genuine threat or something like a kid playing a prank, like if they walked up and said "Allahu Akhbar". To him, she becomes either very high risk or an insensitive jerk mocking airport security. He reacts in kind and Bebe interprets this reaction as a racially motivated assault. Race may likely have made the reaction worse than it was. Bebe's reaction is extreme because she would've grown up hearing about the Yugoslav Wars, specifically as it relates to the ethnically Albanian Kosovo, on the news which, even if it didn't affect her, would have affected her parents. The history there goes back far and doesn't just disappear from one generation to the next.

Perhaps a publicity stunt to promote the new song "I'm the Drama?"

1) Why would she not ask the person if they speak Albanian? I’m bilingual and before I just start speaking in another language, I try to ask/get hints that the other person knows what I’m about to say in another language.
2) Would someone really be that offended if someone spoke a foreign language to them? I’ve had multiple people in my life come up to me and spoke to me in a language I don’t know and I usually laugh it off afterwards. I don’t see anyone overreacting like that. I don’t believe her 😂

You just know she's after freebies. Nobody in their right mind would want other people seeing them with maskara running down their face. By the way, you can buy waterproof maskara, but that would ruin the effect in her case... Getting rather sick of all this...

Someone working who understands Albanian at a German airport is very low, she could have just talk in English...I'm confused what exactly did the worker say or do that left her in tears?
