ATO is after SMSF Investment Strategies

The ATO has announced they’re sending letters to those SMSF trustees who don’t have a diversified pool of investments. In this video I contemplate what the ATO is after, what they’re likely to do and what the rules and consequences are. They largely can’t control what investments the fund makes, but they can make sure the trustees go about it the right way.
