I began my Canadian police motorcycle career in 1975. I was issued a pair of leather mitts gauntlets and 2 pair of lovely wool mitts to wear inside the gauntlets. When directing traffic I also wore a pair of large white cotton gauntlets over the leather ones for visibility. …. I spent 37 years on the job and the mitts and accessories are still in great condition. The wool mitts were replaced often but the cotton and leather gauntlets are sore still used today when it’s cold, like Canadian winter cold.

I’m using Mechanix M-Pact and quite happy with them. Second pair for 4 years riding, durable enough. Also cheaper than branded motorcycle gloves.

Combining dub techno background music with sarcastic jokes and honest information about adventure motorcycling: Probably the best thing you could do for mankind. I am for ever thankful.

For me, mechanix M-pact have been the best all rounder glove. They have more protection than dirtbike gloves and are way more comfortable than road gloves, well ventilated and quick drying, plus have touch screen compatibility. Have several pairs (3) since 2016 and only 1 pair has worn out. Size was kind of large compared to other brands

would definitely love a followup video. Also, I can confirm what the other people were saying about milwaukee demolition gloves. I work at a hardware store, and recent batches (last 6 months) have a made in vietnam label.

I use Mechanix Mpact gloves, available for mostly cheap at places like autozone. Quality went down in recent years though. But it works well enough. The impact stuff is D30 too.

Fly Patrol XC ( Roz has worn them for the last 6 months on the trip around Australia on her CRF 250 and at least 80% off her trip was off road ) and her gloves are still going strong 💪

Goat leather is all I'll wear personally. At least for the palms. Comfort and protection against slides. Had pair from ace hardware in the states and they survived a 40 foot slide on pavement with most of my body weight. Wore them several more months after. About 30 us dollars. Wear Revit cayenne pro for summer now. Got them for 70 dollars on ebay. They've held up very well. I wouldn't pay retail for them. But I think 5 or riding seasons. I'm on 3 now and no issues.

Bought a set of Furrygan and the stitching came undone riding back from the store I bought them from.

I will check the label when I get home, pair of Revit Sand gloves, maybe 7 years old now, use them on road, off road, I used them as a motor state trooper, still use them today, I did all my police training with them, still wear them now, used with a pile of bikes but mostly used to just try and hold on to the 1190 adv r handlebars, now riding the xr650l, they have no holes, are comfortable as heck, I argue the best protection on the planet, the even have a palm protection which also helps prevent hand numbness. Worth every friggin penny. I have an old pair of bmw winter gloves, leather and gotten, 8 years old, still solid.

I bought a pair of Trilobite glove that are made in Czech Republic. So far it is the second motorcycle item that I bought which is made there and I seriously think that they should charge twice the price because the quality is top notch. My glove are the Rally. They stop at the wrists, they use real tick cow leather on the palm and kevlar on the top (with denim over it for style). They also have hard plastic on the knuckle AND ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PALM (ultra rare on cheap glove). 45$ CAD on Fortnine.

I have been wearing a set of 5 Stunt Evo gloves for a couple of years now. Expensive at $100 but very comfy and made in china. They seem to last ok with the road riding I have done.
I have to wear xxxl or larger cause I'm a freak and it makes it hard to find cheap ones that fit. + I think Jesus would have ridden a DR 650.

Mechanix, made in Vietnam. Lots of different models for various applications that work well for riding

I have a set of black diamond ice climbing gloves that I bought for mountain hunting. Ended up using them at work driving a forklift in a freezer and 4 years later of daily abuse they are still going strong. They have held up amazing but they were $200nzd

I've got a pair of Held Sambia. Pretty happy with them, light and tough at the same time. Made in China but for Germany with german specifications, this is what makes the difference.

I have just been using the cheetah work gloves that you would find in a ppe cupboard. They have been holding up well against Gumby enduro, they probably don’t vent very well but they are durable and I wear them all year round. I recently worn holes in the clutch and brake fingers after about a 6 months of use

I've used Joe Rocket Artime gloves and have held up well for daily street use and few minor crashes in the dirt. Good protection in the knucle and a palm slider and for around US$15 you can't beat them. Probably made in China but I bought 2pairs so I have a replacement when needed

Petzl belay gloves work pretty well, cost about $40 and are made in Vietnam I believe. Troy lee mountain bike gloves work well for a lightweight pair but not sure about manufacturing origin.
