I actually have a theory about Arya.
Her character constantly revolves around death. Her trainer in King's Landing taught her "what do we say to death? Not today"
Then her thoughts are only about who is on her list, and she repeats that non-stop and eventually she meets Jaqen, who takes notice. Coincidence that he took notice of her? I don't think so.
It never really explains why he took such a liking to her, but I do have a theory which I'll get to.
Then she does her training and as far as I can tell, completes it. During her training she was a student of Death, so what does that make her if she completes her training? Death?
Then at the end of it all, she is the one that ends the Night King and the army of the dead and I think that's SO poetic. The only one that could kill the army of the dead was Death.
This would also explain why Jaqen, who is also Death, let her go and smiled as she left. I think Death knew she was the one that was going to end the army of the dead and everything he did was to train her for that moment. To make her become Death to defeat Death.
This also explains why they call Death "the many faced God". Because Death isn't just one entity, it's whoever has gone through the training and completed it.

Gods of Death usually come in two forms, one is evil, Slaughter and Destruction, the end of all, the other is Neutral, balance, life and death, opposite sides of the same coin. The Many Faced God is about Balance, the Faceless Men are known as Assassins but they're really Priests, and their services aren't given at a flat rate, to hire them you pretty much have to give them everything you have, whether that is millions in Gold or just the shirt on your back and the chair you sit on.

I wish they would have dived into how the faceless men are either children of the forest, or originated from them. They were responsible for the Doom of Valerya, broke the Land Bridge between Essos and Westeros, all through blood sacrifices. They wanted Arya to keep her identity in the end, that why Jaquin slightly smiled when she left, as he accomplished his task.
