AIS Gala 2023 Honoree Dr. Philip Ozuah

Our 17th annual gala was a warm and engaging evening hosted by Emily Blunt. We honored Dr. Philip O. Ozuah, MD, PhD with our Freeing Voices, Changing Lives Award.

Dr. Ozuah, a person who stutters, helms Montefiore Einstein, the umbrella organization for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Health System’s 13 hospitals and 300 ambulatory sites. A nationally recognized physician, researcher, and author, Dr. Ozuah leads an organization with 10,000 physicians and 53,000 employees serving diverse patients.

The American Institute for Stuttering (AIS) provides specialized, universally-affordable stuttering therapy and support for children and adults who stutter. We offer therapy in our offices in New York City, and Atlanta, as well as Online.
