Assembly Guide: Chicken Feather Plucker - Large (SKU: YL-PL-CW03-C)

Description:
Enjoy quiet plucking with this rust-proof, maintenance-free, wet plucking machine. The large plucker includes 92 natural rubber chicken plucking fingers that spiral strategically inside the 23" food grade plastic drum to ensure every feather from wing to tail is plucked perfectly, without harm to the skin.

Did we mention it's rust-proof? The best part about the plastic food grade drum and 100% natural rubber plucking fingers is that your birds will be plucked in a clean environment, thus reducing any chance of damage or contamination.

No maintenance cost? The simple, yet powerful, patented motor design reduces friction within, thus eliminating the need for lubrication and expensive part replacements. The design reduces breakage within and eliminates the need for regular part replacements such as belts, gears, etc. Further, the simplicity of the design promotes cost savings by using 50% less electricity consumption that other units.

Don't forget the feather shoot! Cimuka's design includes a feather shoot for your feathers to flow easily out of the drum. To operate, use your hose to wash feathers through the feather shoot. You may choose to add a bucket or use the unit over a drain to remove feathers from your work area.

Thank you Hatching time for your prompt comment. Overall everything went very well. I had some left over feathers on the back or between the legs but used wax ducks and get them! I scalded them at 150-155 Fahrenheit before place them on the plucker. I did not try to use it with 2 at the time. I recommend it for anyone that wants to process their own waterfowl! Even if is not 100 de feather, is quicker than by hand.

Strongly considering your company for my small scale homestead. Saw on your site that you offer free shipping on orders over $100 and as well have a great relationship with vendors that allow installment payments.

Testing it tomorrow for ducks. I found difficult to place the fingers and the wholes had already some cracks before placing them. Hopefully, they will not extend with the vibration. I will post again after I tried it.

Also, I need to see you actually de-feather 3 to 4 chickens in that machine before buying it. I don't see any reviews, so I don't know if it can do the job. It looks good, but need proof.

Are the screws that you use to attach the bucket to the base pointed or are they flat threaded with threaded holes in the base? My concern is stripping the screws...

Do you need water to de-feather the chicken or can you de-feather first and then hose out the feathers?
