DIY Bathroom Remodel | First Time Renovation for $4000

My Mom wanted a new bathroom and so I did my best. This was my first time ever doing something like this, so I made a lot of mistakes along the way. Hopefully you can learn from them!

This took roughly 130 hours over 6 weeks. The price breakdown at the end is in Canadian dollars.

Things I'd do differently:
-LEVEL THE FLOOR
-not put ugly trim around backsplash (its only caulked on luckily)
-use a light grey grout for shower floors (for longevity)
-buy a snap cutter (I used a wet saw for every single cut)
-installed a wider niche (I like the niche I just wish it was slightly larger)
-done a smaller gap between profile and tile on horizontal surfaces (curb, bench, niche)

Im 41 and a second generation carpenter, my dad has been a contractor my entire life and all I do is build tile showers I have some on my channel but I just started taking some pictures last year.Your doing very good for your age and I'm impressed with your attention to detail and your video making skills.You have to start somewhere and with confidence in yourself, it will take you along way.If you don't make mistakes you don't learn.Good job kid!!!

I don't even have a house yet and I'm intimidated by all the wiring. But the demo looks doable and dry walling etc. looks easier. Great build and thank you for giving me ideas.
