FARANG - Summer 2017 Lookbook

"simpliCITY is the ultimate sophistication."

Our simpliCITY collection is an ode to the city.

In Parkour the city inspires the way we move and we want it to influence our clothing design, too.

Black, white and grey is already natural to Farang Clothing, they remind us of concrete and walls at our training-grounds in Bangkok, Sydney, Tokyo, Frankfurt and Daugavpils. Inspired by city lights we used yellow and red. As Freerunners we always look up at the rooftops and towards the blue sky.

We want to design clothing that represents how we see the world. Often we don't look at surfaces, but feel them with our hands and feet. We represented that with different fabrics and prints. Soft viscose for our minimal t-shirts, durable cotton and layers of paint stand for the textures in the city.

We are excited to share this new collection with you guys. It's the next step on our journey towards building a true style for Parkour and Freerunning.

Loving the yellow shirt, definitely gonna cop. Really liking the inclusion of these two new colors. I think they fit Farang pretty well! The texture and fabric details on the all black shorts are also really cool, will be copping as well. 😁 If there's anything that I'd like changed, its that the on the new red/black Farang labed shorts, I think the text should be all white instead of black, where it blends in with the rest of the shorts. Its already a pretty loud design: let the Farang really pop by making it some off white/light gray color! Great collection anyways.

is there away i can keep doing parkour with a bad knee? ever since i tore my knee up skating about 15 years ago it hasn't been the same. everytime i stick something even waist high my knee gives out and i lay in excruciating pain for 30 min leaving me limping and jogging at a slow pace and not being able to make the smallest jump after it goes out. ive seen people doing parkour with gimp knees even continueing to do parkour after they heal from a torn acl or pcl. what's the trick. what can i do if anything at all. all i know is i started doing parkour a month ago. parkour has become my life please help
