We get to know a character who was actually present throughout some of the comic books. Throughout the show’s run, a character who pops up frequently is Turk Barrett, an arms dealer and enforcer of Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin who works as a source of comic relief in the show from time to time. In the comics, Turk is actually a recurring character, who is depicted as a petty criminal and is usually Daredevil’s unwilling informant.
