It’s ALL of that. The fact that they do stuff like this all the time in all avenues of life makes me distance myself from them. That’s sneaky, underhanded and low down. Zero integrity and zero accountability whatsoever. I wish the other countries would protest this or boycott the games they hold over there because they CLEARLY cheat for their own countrymen. Yes, it was favoritism. But the bigger question is why the rush to disqualify anyone based on one false start? That’s wild. They’ve been training for years for that moment, and getting a little antsy costs them the opportunity. Ridiculous. I’m glad they let them both run.
