This works. As a tip for anyone trying this, pay attention to the wording of the button. It says “disable” filter, turning this off will filter the chats. Turning it on will allow u to see any chat so you dont want it off. And reload the app after. This works thanks!!

PSA : its not available in alot of countries that are religious or where p0rn is banned

Some countries are blocked by telegram, so if you are signed up by the sim of that country, you are screwed... You won't get this feature
