Is Instagram going away? Is Instagram dead yet? These are the types of questions that I've seen across social media over the past few months.

Many people are curious / concerned with Instagram's future. Instagram has historically been one of the best social media platforms, but recently, they've run into some issues. Many of Instagram's new updates have been controversial. People want to see what's new with Instagram, but instead it feels like Instagram lacks a clear direction. A lot of "updates" are just minor tweaks. It's been said that Instagram is out of ideas and just copies apps like TikTok. That's why there's been a lot of frustration with Instagram reels and reach on Instagram.

Even with all of Instagram's problems, I still believe that IG is worth growing on in 2023.

Instagram is still a place where you can grow followers fast and make money online. Instagram is a powerful tool for building a real audience and marketing yourself. If you're a business too - Instagram is great for marketing your business.

The key is, you have to know how to grow on Instagram right now, and what tips and growth hacks to use.

Instagram just changed a lot over the last year. There have been a ton of updates and new features added. This means we've got new tricks and strategies that we can use to grow with.

The first Instagram Growth Hack that I want to point out is TAGGING. All of the various tagging options on Insta right now are overpowered. If you want to get followers fast on Instagram, start tagging anything and everything that you can (in a way that's relevant to your page / audience).

If you've got a car themepage, tag some other theme pages. If you've got a gym page, tag your gym with a location tag.

Using all 30 hashtags, and making them relevant to your niche and followers, will ensure that you get more reach and growth on Instagram. If you feel like your hashtags strategy isn't working on Instagram, then test new hashtags. Hashtags are still a great way to find new followers on Instagram.

If you want to grow fast on Instagram, do it the right way - don't buy followers. Buying followers will end your account.

As you're growing your Instagram account, focus on keeping your engagement rate high. You want people to engage with your content as much as possible.

Watch Time

These are all important metrics that will help Instagram determine how far to push out your content to new people. Instagram's algorithm can be hacked for fast growth by simply getting great engagement. This engagement has to be real, from your real followers. You can't buy fake engagement. But if you consistently have an engagement rate above 10% or 15% on Instagram, then the algorithm will help you to grow faster.

Getting new followers on Instagram is almost always slower in the beginning. Instagram's algorithm is momentum based. This means, once your page passes a certain threshold, the algorithm will start to put your posts in front of more people. Getting to that point though - does take time.
