Wow, so true. I had a same experience talking to a feminist, I tried to establish some common ground by almost literally “Do you agree 1+1=2? Ok. Do you agree 2+2=4? Ok. If so shouldn’t you agree 1+1+1+1=4?”
To which she replied: Absolutely no. Why should I be logical as you, wouldn’t that mean you win?
I had a stroke as well.

I've always noticed postmodernists get very non-postmodern when situations get important. For example, I doubt a postmodernist would be deconstructing the relevance of engine failure on a plane they're on. I doubt they'd be cool with me draining their bank account because their money is just a subjective construct anyway. I haven't seen a postmodernist beat cancer yet by deciding their cancer diagnosis is just a power play by the patriarchy, etc.

It seems to me that dwelling on the subjective nature of everything, is a past-time for people who are blessed with a posh circumstance that isn't demanding a confrontation with objective reality.

In software development we can observe postmodernism in a sense that truths are reduced to individual interactions through language. Things are open to multiple interpretations and thus they become the source of problems. I think lol

If you were to choose a human at random and try to guess if said human was born from a woman or a man, when would you guess man?

When Gaad spoke with the lady at dinner he should have found out what she really cared about and then deny her opinion or feelings about this topic. For example, let's say he found out that she was an environmentalist, he should bring up some horrific pollution event to get her opinion on it. He can then guide her to agree that some things are objectively wrong.. or right.
