Everyone has someone that they can reliably call upon to help out in the garden. Oftentimes these are family members, friends, and even the occasional neighbor. In my case, I don't get a say in my choice of garden helper. She runs up and volunteers get services and before I get a chance to raise any objections, half the garden is already dug up!
