Mr Heater Fuel Keg 1lb Propane Refill

Where can we buy one of those. I have an adapter put it don’t let out nothing so I can’t fill mine to the top

You can refill the Mr Heater tank with a nonproprietary nozzle, the kind that also works on green bottles. I don’t know why everyone says you can’t but I’ve now done it several times. You won’t be able to get it as full, because the gas discharge ring won’t work.

You can refill the little green tanks as well. You just have to remove the little silver pin on the inside of the keg stand

I have the flame kings which require an allen wrench to open & close the bleed valve and I like that these don’t require a tool. I hear that they are not compatible with the Flame King refill tool?

Can you refill the Flame King 1lb bottles using the Mr Heater Fuel Keg refill kit? I just bought 10 Flame King bottles and will be needing the correct refill adapter.
The Fuel Keg seems to be a better product but obviously I just invested a lot of money into the Flame King bottles...

I got both flame king and fuel keg ststems but since they are not compatible systems i will keep the fuel keg system and sell the Flame king system and bottles. The mr heater fuel keg system is better designed and better build imho

Get yourself the Fuel Keg bottles and filling device and eliminate the hassles of refilling bottles. 90 seconds of depressing the handle and you have a full pound in the bottle. By the way, the Fuel Keg refill bottles are heavier construction than the standard “non-refillable” bottles and designed to be safe to refill. Even the gas relief valve has a safety built in. If it is not attached to the filling tool the relief valve won’t open. Do yourself a favor and throw out the old stuff.

Can you refill it with the small refill adapter, like the one they sell at walmart?

There's videos of here with problems with these some have weld beads in them because of poor manufacturing, you shake and here it and also some say they leak

So do you actually need their special refill kit because it seems the threads are still the same. So any refill system should work.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement o-ring and plastic retaining ring for a 1 pound Fuel Keg tank?

They're not supposed to be that full. I dont know how much, but there needs to be some room for expansion/temp variation. Once I saw liquid first up, I would stop.

I can buy a case of regular one pound cylinders for the price of this setup. The mr heater refill adapter was 19 bucks at the store. The fuel keg is a substantial investment just to feel better about taking propane from one bottle and putting it in another.

The manufacturer lies. They can be refilled without their specialized filler device!
