If you've ever wondered what it feels like to be stuck on a sheet of ice that has broken free and is drifting away from shore out to open freezing water, just listen to a highlight reel of Justin Trudeau.

If you are coming from another province, You will first notice that fuel in Alberta is much cheaper and you only pay a 5% tax for everything even buying a new car. The only reason is Alberta conservatives are looking after their constituents. Finally, Canadians are waking up from their deepest nightmare. Liberals are making them poor with empty promises.

As a liberal i will be voting for Pierre Poilievre! Justin Trudeau is not a liberal in any way!

If I was giving a press interview I'd do the exact same as Pierre. If a reporter makes a false statement I would stop and straighten they out . Only a fool would allow the press to say what they want so they can build on the falsehood. Pierre shows strength and resolve to the problems facing Canadians. I believe truly that Canada needs to make a switch and vote for the conservatives in order to get our Canada back.

Liberals not on the left? What about Guilbeault ... a self-declared Socialist?

The sad thing is that Jagmeet is standing between the way politics is supposed to work in Canada. This guy controls the govt. it was never meant to work this way.

As we cruise toward 2025 and peoples mortgages become due for renewal beginning this year adding hundreds if not thousands to monthly payments... more and more people will awaken to the fact that the LIB/NDP are not an affordable government and that this same government is responsible for much of what has taken place the past 4 years that have added to the increases of inflation.

I feel more hope from Pierre's message then anything coming from Liberal/NDP

Bro does Jagmeet talk like this at KFC? Hey paying $40 for chicken probably the family feast is not fine. KFC prices are non-negotiable.😂

MAGA style politics? Pretty bold statement from the host. I used to vote liberal and support the CBC. No more.

what to watch for in 2024? The GNP, if there is any arrest on the cost of living, unemployment rate. Interest rates, if you cannot afford your mortgage at 5% you cannot afford it at 3% either and its more to do with the over value of real estate.

All about "narrative" and "message", nothing about policy seem important to media.

The lady says he needs to say how he will fix things. Pollievre has been doing this for a long time. Do they not listen

What I don't understand is how CBC can hire an unprofessional person like Greg MacEachern who can't even pronounce Poilievre? A person with professionalism would have learned to pronounce it properly by now.

Why do we add US politics to this discussion? This is only a distraction.

How many times does David suggest Liberals have to frame Conservatives as Maga Trumpers. Is there method to his madness?

The liberal perspective is some 4D chess game. Of course conservatives are gaining ground; political action should be digestable to the masses. We don't need a condescending lecture about how compounding detriments will better us in 50 years by those privelaged enough to remain unaffected by their own policies. Having somone actually validate the average Canadians experience, and recognize that change is needed NOW is like a breath of fresh air, and honestly at this point it seems like a luxury.
