this really helps, i was thinking of going to cambridge. however, i currently go to a comprehensive school. this is due to my lack of understanding of the importance of my 11+. i put no effort in whatsoever and so, i finished, and failed by three marks. i have learned my lesson from that, and i am hoping to go into a medical career (neurology). this gives an effective insight into the university.

Hey I'm just planning on applying for the 2025 year, did you go for undergrad or post grad? Also how old were you when you applied? I'm only 20 and I'm graduating Cal this summer, I'm not sure if I should wait or immediately apply. Turns out I'm 1-2 years younger than everyone.

Being a student at Cambridge was like living in a large and enclosed cobweb-strewn mausoleum, surrounded by zombies. The only thing the students know is their own ambition, and other human beings do not exist for them.
An utterly ghastly experience which even now gives me the occasional nightmare.

Be very very careful about what you wish for kids, probably better to do an apprenticeship.
