Paul Eddington should have won a BAFTA for this scene alone. 🙏

Short sentences ✔️
Not a wooden face ✔️
Balance b/w conveying a point and not saying too much ✔️
Good body posture ✔️ ..Who knew this could be a documentary for all business lawyers drafting and negotiating contracts too! 😅 Absolutely love this show!

The complete sequence between Godfrey and Hacker is comedy gold. Godfrey's deadpan and sarcastic delivery perfectly compliments with Hacker's anxiety to look the best in Telly. Paul Eddington was a genius in reacting. Truly masterful actor.

In the fullness of time, after all due consideration of all new TV shows in the preceding half century, one does come to the conclusion that Yes Minister was perhaps the greatest show of all time.

This is the best example of why one should listen to themselves and not everyone else 🤣
