Inversions are a fundamental part of learning to play piano for every beginner. They're useful for any style you're learning to help you get familiar with the keyboard and understand how to begin playing chords in different ways. We want to get them fluent eventually so we can use them easily but the first step is to understand them properly, be able to figure them out and learn the basic music theory. Now we're actually playing them and getting used to the inversion shapes of every major and minor chord going through fingers and technique.
Come back for the follow up videos for tips on playing, practicing, recognising and memorising them!
