How To MOVE To Los Angeles BROKE!? | 1 Year Update | Where to live in Los Angeles?

In my opinion you should have at least $5,000 in the process of moving to Los Angeles. I obviously moved with much less money than that but things were definitely much harder to obtain because of that. I currently live in Hollywood, which is very convenient and has lots of perks because it's so close to everything and I don't necessarily need a car to get around town, I take public transit and that can get me all the way across the city!

What are good areas within Los Angeles to move to as a new comer?

Being a newcomer, its best to be in the region of West Los Angeles which includes areas like:

1. West Hollywood
2. Hollywood
3. Koreatown
4. Santa Monica/Venice
5. North Hollywood
6. Downtown Los Angeles
7. Mid-City
8. USC area

I Have Personally lived in a couple of those areas.

Why and When should you move to Los Angeles?

You should move to Los Angeles if you are passionate about some idea or field that can help you further advance your career. I'm not here to say that you should or shouldn't move to Los Angeles. I'm here to help you move in the best possible fashion so you wouldn't end up having to move back or you come out here and you end up going homeless or not having a place to stay. Definitely come out here with a plan and your goals set in place for your future rather than trying to come out here and figure things out. When you try to come out here and figure things out, it holds you back and you might end up failing because Los Angeles is such a hard place to be in!

I born and raised in Idaho my whole life! Me and my roommates always wanted to move to LA because of their entertainment industry! But omg CA is really expensive to live there! There is homeless people, the traffic sucks!

Yes, I found a brotha!! As a another brotha, I don't trust any of these " moving to >>insert city<<" video unless it comes from somebody black. As a minority, you tend to have a much more grounded and real perspective compared to someone who is not.
