This does not work - and all these robo calls if you do get a real person and you say something they just hang up on you. So this does not work.

I'm being harassed by health agents of medicare callers. Mine isn't doing it. I've asked to stop and I got over 100+ calls. Ty I did do no not call list. It still happens. Today over ten right now.

I'm sorry, but I have to correct you.
First thing is that "do not call" list. THAT is where the scammers get a list of good numbers to call! How naive can you be??
Second thing is that many local operators do not consult that list before calling. Some examples are pavers (the fly-by-night kind), chimney sweeps, roofers, and others. They just start calling everybody they can in a neighborhood they are working in trying to drum up business.
Third thing is DON'T waste your time filing a complaint. They do NOTHING to stop the unwanted callers from calling. Fines are a JOKE, and are rarely, if ever, levied and almost NEVER collected.
Fourth thing is that the FCC has NO jurisdiction over the overseas call centers - like the majority of the ones in India.
Your video amounts to a 10 minute waste of my time. Information you are giving is as current as big wheel bicycles and high button shoes. This information is so old that it already has great grandchildren.

My number is on the do not call list and it doesn't stop the calls. This is not from my Advantage plan.

They do not call registries do not work on the national or state level. I’ve tried multiple times and still continue to get unsolicited Medicare calls. They never stop.

Do Not Call List is not making a dent in these unsolicited calls.I currently have a parent in Hospice and I am afraid not to answer any calls right now.Shameless.

I get 20+ calls a day. I have the same name as my deceased father so they think I'm over 65. I'm not. The numbers are spoofed local numbers from out of the country. If you try to call them back the number does not exist. There is no way to stop the calls. The phone apps don't even work. They do not abide by the do not call registry. This is a huge problem targeting seniors. I may have to change my number.

The "Do Not Call List" DOES NOTHING!!!! The scammers don't care about it and even businesses don't obey it! I'm constantly telling people they are breaking the law by calling me. They don't care. I have also filed at least 100 complaints with the FCC and that does nothing, either. FCC has never even once contacted me despite them forcing me to always key in my phone number, email address, snail mail address, etc. This video was a huge waste of time.

They are getting other people's phone numbers and calling under a personal name ... Like .. James Schrack, Dale Bates .. Ken Mc Heyard so how do u stop those calls

It'd be an awesome world if these methods work, but sadly, they don't !
Do Not Call list is useless, PAC companies are allowed to call you under it still...somehow 😢

The FCC needs the company name & legal address before your complaint is even addressed & good luck getting these awful ppl to give you THAT, they usually just hang up on you if you either ask for info, or some hang-up if you stop their spiel.

Maybe some brand new AI phones can give you valid info on spam callers, but most phones give you the info that's for the spoofed # they're calling on & NOT the real info( phone #/address etc)or comes up Private or Unknown.

*WARNING ! When you answer ANY of these calls, your phone harassment will get WORSE over the coming weeks, since now they can sell your # as verified & valid & O Boy will they sell the hell out of your phone # !!😡 UGH !

Some methods that will actually HELP, but sadly not eradicate these calls....
-Go to Youtube & put in "phone # not in service, tone & msg"(or any variation of that, lol) then record the tone TWICE (& msg, if so wanted, but it's only the specific tone you really need.plus, if you add the msg calls you DO want also may hang up if the "this # is out of service, "lol)onto the beginning of your phone's messenging service outgoing msg, then afterwards your real msg.
What this does is fool robo/ auto systems into thinking your # is out of service & will get taken off their call list.. Since most of these companies use robocall 1st, before agents waste their time, this can dramatically lessen amount of calls you get.

-If you are someone that has to frustratingly answer even unknown #'s, ( either for business, personal or med reasons) answer unknown caller calls with "This line is being recorded, I'm on the DNC list, Do not share or sell my information" before your usual greeting. It's a total PIA, I know, lol, but often that will at least get that company off your back for a while.

& if you ARE recording these calls for a lawsuit, or the FCC, then by law you HAVE to notify callers you are doing so. Just make sure it's said to an actual person, not the robo- intro many of these scam companies use, that part isn't recorded, only the person-to-person part is.

-Make sure to record date of call, calling you after requesting they take you off their calling list IS against the law & is then actionable by the FCC (IF you want to go that VERY long, sadly often fruitless, route, lol)

While the info she gave is o.k, she makes it seem like the FCC jumps into action quickly on these matters...they do NOT. If they already have a class-action suit against a certain company, you may be asked to join that & for you to start marking down ea time they call, or may want you to actually start recording these calls, hopefully getting them to give company name & add ( for legal evidence).
The FCC makes us do all the work & since most calls of this type are scammers, so they revolve "ownership" regularly, so that legally ( hah!)your request to not be called/info not sold/shared now becomes invalid ea time they do this, so trying to bring these jerks to court & make them pay for the harassment can be an endless annoying rabbit-hole to go down.
These col methods are the only ones I've found that mostly do work, but all are frustrating, not instantaneous or sadly, even if they do work, aren't forever solutions.
My best advice is to be vigilant & very choosy who you give your phone # or email to ( esp Dr's offices, hospitals, med device companies or med plans you have !) & with EVERY company you deal with, off or online & request no telemarketing calls & that your info not be shared/sold.

Do not call and blocking do not work at all! My roommate and I both get calls every single day from those asking whether we have the OTC card and other benefits. Starting at 7am. 6 am for my roommate. It's very disrupted. They make me so sick and angry that at times I scream into the phone. They are driving me crazy. Who actually listens to them. Stop doing that!
