When I was a kid, I used to have a recurring dream where I'd wake up on a sunny morning. My bed was next to a window. The window would open up on its own and a staircase made of clouds would form, reaching up to the sky. I would walk up the steps until I reached a large, seemingly endless, single cloud. My school friends, siblings and cousins were there playing. I would join them, and the I would wake up.

Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of those dreams.

Last year I was obsessed with the song “space song” on this album. Now I’m obsessed with this song. I don’t know what happened to me. I feel like a new person but yet the same. This song makes me feel something I can’t explain and wants to understand what is going on with my mind.

This album's got me crying, sitting here, looking back through nostalgia, and thinking about my friends and family.

And it's sad cause they don't know how much they mean to me and we can never go back to those nostalgic moments or even make up for the time we lost.

The more I think about it, the more I start to fear that the worst thing wouldn't be them never knowing how I feel about them. It's instead seeing how I _feel_ turning into how I _felt_ and then eventually... not feeling anying at all

This song makes me think of a distant single parent and their relationship to their child. The song is told from a child's perspective, admiring their parent, who is so distant, mysterious, and quiet most of the time. The parent provides all of the essentials yes, but there's no loving gestures, leaving this emotional gap between them. Am I projecting? Totally.
