For me, this is one of the all-time best Paganini No.5 performances! The other etudes in this concert were also absolutely delightfully delivered of course. But this one in particular is fantastic - besides being technically immaculate there is a sense of freedom, fun, grace and power in equal measure. Pure joy from the first note to the last! Thank you for this, Miss Ott!
