Hey what is needed to be changed in order to change the cube movement to click and drag instead of just mouse movement?

i want to add a simple thing, when holding space button, and even after changing the mouse's location the cube should remain at same postion even untill i leave the pressed space button. and after leaving it now the cube should rotate as per new mouse locaiton

another thing is if possible, the cube should be rotate like its stopping with friction on automatically as per mouse
can you create a new video for it, if not possible please suggest some tips, i tried with chatgpt but didn't worked out.

Can you make the cube rotate only when the mouse is on top of the cube? I was thinking using "onmousemove" on the style ".cube" but not sure how to impelent it on this particulare case/code.
