I remember when I was a kid back in the 60s and 70s and you could still see the Milky Way streak in the night sky, even in a mid sized city like Spokane.

In highschool my dads house was perfectly positioned. Every night especially in the winter these stars were whiter than any shade existing. We would sit in awe on those sleepless nights

One of the trippiest things regarding space is the scale of things. Every single one of those pin pricks is a star, every one of those starts has planets, much like our own star. And all of those stars and planets are separated by distances that is so hard to fathom.

What truly makes my excited is the thought of how many diffrent creatures live in those stars. And man dont i wanna see every single one of them.
