The Lady That Lives Underground | Grimefighters

Many of us dream of a quiet life in the country, and for Jan Bush that dream became a reality… but the harsh realities of living off the grid gradually took their toll.

Living in an underground bunker in the Welsh countryside with her two dogs, she’s about as far from society as you can get. A peaceful life for sure but being away from local amenities meant her rubbish quickly piled up and got out of hand. In 10 years, Jan managed to burrow herself in layers of grime and filth so deep it has required a specialist team of extreme cleaners to dig her back out of her garbage grotto.

After watching so many videos with tenants who "moved out" or "passed away", I never thought I would see the face of someone living in such conditions. Now I finally have. Wow! Not as I've imagined!!!
