I’m a parent and i just ADORE Gabi. This movie showed my kids who are brown skinned know that there are other that look like them as cartoon characters. I appreciate the versatility shown in this movie and the creativity shout out to Missy E! ⭐️👏🏽

Ynairaly did an amazing job voicing Gabi. She really brought a lot of life to her character in the movie and especially in this song. I hope we get to see her her do more projects like this one.

1:36 Also, I don’t know if anyone noticed but if you see Vivo in the background, as he is trying to escape he looks concerned about Gabi when she says people assume she’s lonely. That expression on his face when she says that shows that Vivo cares about Gabi and wants to make sure she’s okay as he slowly walks towards her. That’s my opinion anyway.

I initially found Gabi really annoying at the start of the film. Then this song played and I realised that it could have been kid-me's theme song, because I was that annoying kid/Gabi when I was younger. It completely changed my perspective of her and gave me far more empathy from where she's coming from.
