This is something you learn as a youth playing pop Warner football.

You NEVER EVER lower your head and tackle with the top of your head.

There was a study that said if they were to remove facemasks the players would stop using their heads as a weapon to tackle. Obviously that will never happen but it's interesting.

As soon as i saw it in the week 2 recap you made perna I physically cringed when he made that hit. Ive never played football ever but i could tell that wasnt the right way to tackle from reading and watching to many horror stories of hits gone wrong. I am glad he got up right after but saddened to learn he did injure himself hope for a speedy recovery ❤
