My father is bald, my uncles are bald, my grandfathers on both sides of the family were bald. I began to lose my hair as early as 16, by 18 I had the fullblown jig-saw piece hairline, the McDonalds special, the Nintendo 64 controller. Being the only person (as far as i could tell) in my highschool losing their hair at this age felt so dreadful. I tried everything, but there is no avoiding male pattern baldness. The happiest decision I made was shaving my head at 19 and letting it go, the obsession was eating me alive and making me extremely depressed and ashamed. I know this will not reach asmon, but if it reaches one of you out there; Do it. Everybody says it, I know its cliche, *BUT ITS CLICHE FOR A REASON.* If your hair loss stresses you out on the daily, just do it. I promise you will feel so much better.

Stay strong my receding brothers. It doesn't get better, but you can end it before you get worse.
